The H.-J. Scheffler GmbH is a brokerage agency in the agricultural sector. We act as an independent broker between producers, wholesalers, and the processing sector. Drawing on many decades of experience, our clients benefit from our outstanding competence and reliability.
We aim to establish business relationships that are stable and beneficial for all parties involved by providing the most accurate and relevant information on the market to our clients on a daily basis.
Half a century of H.-J. Scheffler
The company H.-J. Scheffler for grains, animal feed, and plant-based oils has been in business for more than 50 years.
In 1952, Hans-Joachim Scheffler began his career as a broker at the Alfons Sohnleitner KG in Munich.
In 1953, he started representing the speciality feeds division of Fritz Köster Handelsgesellschaft AG
in Hamburg, focusing on branded fishmeal.
On 1st of January, 1966, Scheffler then founded the H.-J. Scheffler KG, which was converted into a GmbH in 1991.
Klaus Hürter joined the company as a liable partner on 1st July 1982. Hans Schöll followed as a co-partner on 1st January 1997.
Anton Langenegger has been with the company since June 2004. Since October 2010, Florian Manstein completes the team.
Today more than ever, The H.-J. Scheffler GmbH is in high demand as an external service provider.
Our independent advice and consultations are a trusted source of market information to suppliers
and purchasers alike.
The new markets of Eastern Europe following the enlargement of the EU, the introduction of the
